The City of Richland would like to provide an update regarding the Splash Pad, which is currently closed for maintenance.

The replacement parts that were ordered have been installed; however, the system is still not operating properly. A specialized technician from Alabama will need to be brought in to further diagnose and repair the system.

With the season nearing its normal end, we cannot guarantee that the necessary repairs will be completed and the Splash Pad will reopen before the scheduled seasonal closure.

We understand how disappointing this is, especially during these hot summer days, and sincerely appreciate our residents’ patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue.
