Special Events

The mission of the City of Richland is to provide the highest quality of life for our citizens by providing special events for all ages to enjoy. Richland is a great place to live and PLAY!

Highway 49 Festival:  Held in September.  Our annual festival that is sure to be enjoyed by the whole family!  Be sure to visit our website at highway49fest.com and LIKE our Facebook page.

Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast:  Held the day before the Hwy. 49 Fest at 7:00 am at the Community Center.

Easter Egg Hunt:  Held at the Soccer Fields.

Business Expo:  Held at the Community Center.  This event is sponsored by the Richland Economic Development Association (REDA) and the City of Richland. CLICK HERE for info.

Movies under the Stars:  Usually held in May and September on the Soccer Field.  Contact the Community Center for upcoming dates & features.  Family fun night!  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and watch movies on the big screen!

FORE the Kids Golf Tournament:  Usually held in October.  Held at Patrick Farms.  The event is sponsored by Parks & Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Youth Council.

Haunted Halloween Trail:  Held at the Community Center walking trail.  Trick or Treat; Games & Inflatables; Refreshments; Face Painting; Pumpkin Patch.  The event is sponsored by the City of Richland and the Mayor’s Youth Council.

Totally Locally Christmas Market:  Held on the 2nd Saturday of December at the Community Center.  The Christmas Market is where local vendors come together and provide a day of Christmas shopping all under one roof.  The Totally Locally Christmas Market invites craft vendors and local retailers from Richland and surrounding areas to participate on this day to promote their business and to encourage our citizens to shop locally.  The event is sponsored by REDA.
