Call (601-932-3000) or see the City Clerk at the Richland City Hall, 380 Scarbrough Street, by 12:00 Noon on the Friday before the scheduled Board Meeting.
Upon reaching the age of 18, you may register to vote at Richland City Hall, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If you wish to receive a registration card the same day you register to vote, you must go to the Rankin County Court House in Brandon. City Clerk’s Office
The City of Richland’s City Clerk is a Board appointed position. The City Clerk is responsible for all Official Records for the City. She preserves the Municipal Minutes, Ordinances, and all permanent records including contracts, orders, resolutions and public hearings. The City Clerk is responsible for Voter Registration, Elections, Purchasing, Payroll and Personnel Records. The City Clerk serves as auditor of the Municipality and keeps financial records in accordance to the Office of the State Auditor.
