Guy Smith – Assistant Director
At Richland Parks and Recreation, it is our goal and focus to provide the best recreational opportunities for our entire community, especially our youth. The experiences that our youth receive through our programs will last with them through the rest of their life. A child’s experience is mainly impacted by two different people, the volunteer coaches, and the parents. If we want children to show positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and the willingness to learn more about the sport, the example starts with positive volunteer coaches who take the time out of their day to lead these kids and positive parents to back those coaches. With the coaches and parents working together, the kids will follow.
